SWAHEELIES: SHOES ON A MISSION

This year alone, Swaheelies a new enterprise with social conscious, has committed that sale proceeds from 500 shoes, will go towards sending 28 children to school in 2015. Made by gifted youth from the slums of Kibera, the beautiful hand crafted shoes and leather slippers have the ultimate mission to provide high quality education on a  full time basis to hundreds of children.
With shoes that show case the beauty and culture of Kenya, Swaheelies are one of a kind footwear.

FIRST CLASS CARS CONCIERGE: CHAUFFEURED LUXURY TRANSPORT

Established in 2013, the crew at First Class Cars Concierge have literally turned up the symphony on the style and quality of corporate vehicle concierge services available in Kenya.

With this in mind it came as no surprise when FCCC chauffeured around the 'Perfect Gentleman' Wyclef Jean during his recent visit to Nairobi. The Haitian hip hop recording artist, musician, actor and politician was in the country in September.

LALI HEATH: EXQUISITE HATS

At the feet of couture Milliner Jane Corbett did Lali Heath craft her art.

Under Ms. Corbett best known for her clients who include Kate HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Lali studied traditional millinery skills from one of England's finest.
Creating beautiful hats and headdresses, Lali who grew up in Kenya, draws on techniques such as hand blocking straws and felts, and hand making delicate flowers, feather and beaded trims.
 
 Heath is one of Africa's few couture milliners and one of the even fewer who can claim modest fame of a hat worn to this year's Royal Ascot by a race goer. Lali Heath who divides her time between 3 countries, UK, Kenya and Tanzania, will be at the Garden Party showcasing and retailing her collection, and consulting with guests on new hats they may wish for custom make by her. A coup for the event, Lali Heath will be in Nairobi in this, an exclusive appearance.
